140th Anniversary

Saved by Grace - Sent to Serve is our theme as we celebrate God's provision to TLO since its beginnings. Special guests with Lutheran Heritage Foundation will share the great work being done around the world, and a door offering will support their work. Refreshments are served in the gym to celebrate our anniversary so don’t miss this fellowship and celebration opportunity as we recognize the longevity of our TLO ministry. Make plans to attend!

About our Special Guests:

During worship we hear the Rev. Dr. Robert Rahn preach in both the 8:00am and 10:30am services. His ancestry goes back to our congregations’ beginnings. He is a native of Eagan, Minnesota where his family farmed by what is known today as Rahn Road. He is the founder of the Lutheran Heritage Foundation which is instrumental in translating and producing Lutheran Confessional materials in native languages. The materials are used to start new churches and educating pastors around the world. 

Rev. Dr. Dinku Bato, Director of LHF’s African Operations, and an associate of Rev. Dr. Rahn, is a native Ethiopian and recently returned from teaching at our seminary in Sudan. During the 9:15am education hour, he will share the mission of LHF in 90 countries, working in 128 languages.
