What a joy and privilege to bring the Gospel of Christ to the wonderful people of God at TLO Church and School community. I am blessed to be a pastor and share this restoring and renewing Good News - the message of God's love in Christ - every day. I'm married to Lynn and we have three children. I especially enjoy studying the New Testament Bible in Greek, spending precious time with my family, playing board games, playing tennis and taking in a great cup of coffee with friends.
In addition to playing organ for services, I enjoy accompanying church and school music groups, and coordinating the Young Investors program at school. I also enjoy teaching piano lessons, and am blessed by staying active in Bible study. My husband, Layne, and I have two school-age children.
It’s rewarding to share the Gospel every day in my vocation. I get to meet interesting folks who are seeking to know Christ and follow His will for their lives. My husband and I are grateful our four children could attend TLO School, benefitting greatly from the Christian instruction in their school day. We feel blessed to have TLO as our church home.
Mrs. Kathy Jones has served Lutheran schools in Dallas, TX, the Twin Cities, and most recently Bismarck, ND. Her experience includes teaching grades four through eight and school administration. As an educator, Mrs. Jones seeks to promote an educational environment where children are engaged, supported, and challenged. Mrs. Jones and her husband have two children, Jessica and Jacob. They enjoy every opportunity to travel and enjoy the outdoors - especially camping and hiking in our State and National Parks.
I am currently in my 10th year as Youth Director at TLO! I basically get to hang out with some pretty cool kids (from 7th - 12th grades) and talk about Jesus! I love growing with all of the youth as we continually live our lives for Christ! I have an amazing wife, Tami, and 3 wonderful children: Andrew, Kaylee, and Kenzie. I enjoy sappy, romantic movies, and long walks on the beach. Just kidding...I like to play golf! I also enjoy doing fun things with my family, like watching tv and just relaxing with Tami, playing disc golf with Andrew, playing Raccoon Wars with Kaylee, and playing soccer with Kenzie. I also work as a paraprofessional at Apple Valley High School, helping students with special needs.
I attended K-8 at Mt. Hope Redemption (LC-MS) in Bloomington and have a deep desire to serve my Lord in Lutheran Schools. I'm working on a degree through Concordia University, St. Paul.
