What a joy and privilege to bring the Gospel of Christ to the wonderful people of God at TLO Church and School community. I am blessed to be a pastor and share this restoring and renewing Good News - the message of God's love in Christ - every day. I'm married to Lynn and we have three children. I especially enjoy studying the New Testament Bible in Greek, spending precious time with my family, playing board games, playing tennis and taking in a great cup of coffee with friends.
I attended K-8 at Mt. Hope Redemption (LC-MS) in Bloomington and have a deep desire to serve my Lord in Lutheran Schools. I'm working on a degree through Concordia University, St. Paul.
It’s rewarding to share the Gospel every day in my vocation. I get to meet interesting folks who are seeking to know Christ and follow His will for their lives. My husband and I are grateful our four children could attend TLO School, benefitting greatly from the Christian instruction in their school day. We feel blessed to have TLO as our church home.
In addition to playing organ for services, I enjoy accompanying church and school music groups, and coordinating the Young Investors program at school. I also enjoy teaching piano lessons, and am blessed by staying active in Bible study. My husband, Layne, and I have two school-age children.

Mrs. Kathy Jones has served Lutheran schools in Dallas, TX, the Twin Cities, and most recently Bismarck, ND. Her experience includes teaching grades four through eight and school administration. As an educator, Mrs. Jones seeks to promote an educational environment where children are engaged, supported, and challenged. Mrs. Jones and her husband have two children, Jessica and Jacob. They enjoy every opportunity to travel and enjoy the outdoors - especially camping and hiking in our State and National Parks.
In addition to serving at Trinity, I’m also a professor of theology at Concordia University as well as the Director of the University’s Center for Biblical Studies. Both callings enable me to teach and preach the Gospel—my soul’s greatest delight. I’ve authored or co-authored nine books—all related to the Old Testament—and have three children and one granddaughter. I enjoy just about everything about the Minnesota outdoors; hiking, jogging, cycling, camping, boating, swimming, and cross-country skiing.
Playing organ at TLO is such a blessing, and it brings me so much joy to unite the congregation in song as we praise and worship our loving God. In addition to playing for services at TLO, I am a student at Concordia University, St. Paul with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Lutheran Theology. I also enjoy playing in the hand bell ensemble at Concordia, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors.
