MOMS IN PRAYER

What we're about

Moms in Prayer uses the ACTS prayer model:
  • Adoration

  • Confession

  • Thanksgiving

  • Supplication

We pray for our own children, TLO students and staff, Trinity Lone Oak as a whole.  Childcare during our prayer time can be arranged by contacting the church office.

Our group meets at 7:00pm at the Peterson Home, with focus groups as follows:

  • November 15, 2016—Grade 2

  • December 8, 2016—Grade 3

  • January 15, 2017—Grade 4

  • February15, 2017—Grade 5

  • March 16, 2017—Grade 6

  • April 12, 2017—Grade 7

  • May 15, 2018—Grade 8

God will bless you richly as your pray for your children through Moms in Prayer!

Why Pray Together?

  • God promises that He will be present with you.
"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20 (NIV)

  • Burdens shared become lighter.
"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2 (NIV)

  • The more we share with other moms, the more we begin to trust them, and sharing becomes more honest. Just meeting together will build each other up.
"Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify— strengthen and build up—one another, just as you are doing." I Thessalonians 5:11 (AMP)

  • We become more bold in asking for things that we never intended asking for at all.
"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)
